In the spring of 2026, Brandt Veterinary Services will be moving to a new, modern facility to better serve you and your pets.
This move represents a significant investment in the future of veterinary care in our community. However, with this exciting change comes a difficult decision. While this new facility will allow us to expand our medical and surgical services, unfortunately, due to the design and zoning of our new location, we will be unable to offer any boarding services for our canine patients. We will have some limited availability to continue offering medical boarding for our feline patients.
We understand that many of you rely on our medical boarding services, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are committed to ensuring a smooth transition for you and your pets.
Between now and through February, we will continue to offer our medical boarding services as usual. As we start our transition to the new facility, we will no longer be able to board dogs beginning March 2026. We encourage you to begin exploring alternative boarding options in advance of this date. Our team has compiled a list of reputable local boarding facilities and pet sitters that we trust. Please feel free to contact us at 804-739-7892 for this list, and we would be happy to discuss what might be the best fit for your pet's needs.
Please be assured that all of our other services, including wellness exams, surgery, dentistry, and hospitalization, will continue uninterrupted and will be enhanced at our new facility.
